Lacrosse was very pleased to act as sponsor for the Polish and CEE Private Equity Conference at the Intercontinental Hotel on 6 February 2015 in Warsaw. Lacrosse provided simultaneous translation and consecutive translation for the event. The event was well attended and though only the second of its kind, it is becoming a must-attend event for the industry. Keynote speakers included Undersecretary of State Artur Radziwill. Stealing the show though was the final speaker, Rafal Brzoska, the founder and CEO of IN-Post, the Polish parcel delivery service with pick-up boxes at petrol stations and shopping centres. They have now expanded to 20 countries across the world. A keen surfer, Mr Brzoska made the analogy of a small firm being like a short surf board. Being small, it is easier to “catch the wave” of business than with a big board.
To add a bit of levity, Lacrosse provided a free prize draw for the event.
